Collection: Lie

Lie (Jay Turner | b. 1982) is a Chicagoland born and based painter. He is a graduate of The Illinois Institute of Art – Schaumburg. Submersing himself in the Chicago Street Art Scene, he became a student of spray paint and urban art. Mixing traditional painting techniques with spray paint, he has manifested a unique style that crosses contemporary and street art.

He has exhibited in Chicago, Miami, and San Francisco. His artwork can also be seen on the streets in Chicago and Miami.  Chicago Truborn has proudly represented him and exhibited his work since day 1.  In fact, he was a mentor and driving force in our very decision to open a gallery!
